"Really proud of how the team approached tonight, hitters had good at bats, pitchers made big pitches at big moments, defense was good, dugout was fun, really good formula for success," said coach Scott Mansfield. "If we continue to do all of those, makes for a competitive weekend where you'll give yourself a chance to win the series."
The Jets had two big innings, a four run second and a four run fifth.
Dylon Mallett earned the win out of the Jets' bullpen tossing four scoreless innings. Murphy Gienger pitched the ninth inning earning the save striking out two.
