TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma -- The 10th ranked NOC Enid Jets split a pair of games at Murray State Saturday winning the first game 4-1 and dropping the nightcap 14-11.
The Jets (17-7) earned the series win taking three of four in the conference opening series.
In Game 1, Piercen Mcelyea (2-1) was brilliant for the Jets allowing just one unearned run over seven innings while striking out five in earning the win.
Jordan Coffey had two hits including a two run home run. Cale Savage had the other Jet hit, a two run single.
In Game 2, the Jets lost a wild affair 14-11, though the Jets led after 11-8 heading to the bottom of the 8th.
Ambren Voitik had two home runs while Coffey and Tanner Holliman added homers for the Jets.
Voitik had four hits and scored three runs for NOC Enid. Holliman added two hits, Coffey had three runs batted in.
The Jets host Carl Albert on Wednesday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
