POTEAU, Oklahoma -- Jaron DeBerry and Justin Raines combined on a six hit shutout and Blake Scott homered in a 7-0 win in Game 2 of a twinbill at Carl Albert on Saturday.
The 13th ranked Jets (18-10) are 4-4 in conference while the Vikings (13-18) are 5-3 in conference play.
In Game 2, DeBerry tossed eight innings of six hit baseball, Raines completed the shutout with a scoreless ninth.
Scott's two run home run provided two rbi's for the Jets while Ambren Voitik, Calyn Halvorson, and Kyle Bass had one run batted in each.
The game was scoreless until the fifth when the Jets erupted for five runs and then cruised to the 7-0 win.
In Game 1, the Jets rallied from a 4-0 deficit with three runs in the sixth but fell 4-3 to the Vikings.
Cale Savage had a three hits including a double and two runs batted in. Voitik added two hits for the Jets.
Piercen Mcelyea went the distance allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out seven.
The Jets travel to Hesston on Tuesday for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
