Jets split twinbill against Rich Mountain

In the conclusion of a four game series, NOC Enid split a pair with Rich Mountain (AR) at David Allen Memorial Ballpark on Sunday.

The Jets won the first game 8-4 and lost Game 2 7-4.

The Jets (24-15) are 8-8 in conference while Rich Mountain (22-16) is 10-6 in league play.

In Game 1, the Jets broke a 4-4 tie with four runs in the sixth to win 8-4.

Tanner Holliman's three run home run capped off the four run uprising in the sixth.

Holliman had four runs batted in on the day.  Gage Ninness had two hits including a solo home run while Zach Escovedo had two doubles.  Blake Scott added two hits including a double.

Wyatt Sellers was the starter allowing three earned runs over five innings.  Justin Raines earned the win with two scoreless innings from the Jets' bullpen.

In Game 2, the Bucks built a 5-3 lead and won 7-4.

Ninness continued his hot hitting with two hits including a home run, his second of the day.

Ambren Voitik, Calyn Halvorson and Zach Escovedo had two hits each.

Thomas Kuykendall was the starter for the Jets with relief help from Jackson Olivi and Nathan Crum.

The Jets are at Western for a key series starting Thursday in Altus.
