The NOC Enid Jets swept the NOC Tonkawa Mavericks 9-8 and 8-7 Friday night at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
With the sweep, the Jets (26-2) improved to 10-12 in league while the Mavs (27-21) fell to 7-15 in conference.
In Game 1, the Jets trailed 5-0 in the second but rallied scoring eight runs over the next two innings to take an 8-7 lead.
Brandon Lees had three hits including a home run and three runs batted in. Connor Thaxton also homered for the Jets.
Cale Savage doubled and stole two bases along with three runs batted in.
After those first three innings, both teams pitching staffs settled in and neither team scored the rest of the way.
Murphy Gienger was brilliant out of the Jets' bullpen allowing just one hit over four innings striking out three. Peircen Mcelyea started for the Jets allowing four earned runs over three innings
In Game 2, the Jets jumped out to a 9-3 lead and then held off the Mavs winning 9-8.
Ambren Voitik led a 10 hit attack with three hits including a home run and three runs batted in.
Savage added another double for the Jets while Blake Scott and Gage Ninness added two hits each.
Jaron DeBerry allowed just three earned runs over seven innings in earning the win. Justin Raines earned the save.
The Jets conclude the four game series at Tonkawa Sunday at 1 p.m.
