The NOC Enid Jets dropped to the consolation bracket Tuesday losing to Rich Mountain 18-8 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
The Jets (31-23) face the Western/National Park winner at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Should the Jets win, they would face Rich Mountain at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
NOC Enid would have to beat Rich Mountain Wednesday night and again Thursday to claim the Region 2/District Championship.
Calyn Halvorson had a big night for the Jets with two home runs and a double driving home three runs. Connor Thaxton also had two runs batted in for the Jets.

The Jets then answered that Rich Mountain rally with one of their own scoring six runs in the third to close the gap to 8-7. Halvorson's double and Thaxton's two-run single were key hits in the inning.
NOC Enid tied the score on an inside-the-park home run by Halvorson in the top of the fourth and it was a new game at 8-8.
Rich Mountain regained the lead at 9-8 in the bottom of the fourth and blew the game open with nine runs in the fifth.
