MENA, Arkansas --  Daniel Schlehuber worked seven strong innings and Brandon Pierre had a double and two runs batted in for NOC Enid in a 5-3 win Thursday.

Schlehuber allowed three runs on four hits while striking out two.

Logan Wade earned the save with two scoreless innings.

Cooper Smith added three hits while Rhen Rutledge, Jesse Ponce, and Brody Rutledge added two hits each.

The Jets broke open a 2-1 contest with three runs in the seventh keyed by Pierre's double scoring Brody Rutledge and Noah Smith.

The #15 Jets (27-5) improved to 2-0 in league play while Rich Mountain (17-16) fell to 3-3.

NOC Enid hosts UA Rich Mountain Saturday at 1 p.m./3 p.m.
