NOC Enid dropped the first game of a four game series against Western 9-0 on Wednesday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid.

In the first game of the twinbill, the Jets were outhit 9-4.

Jesse Ponce, Jhett Creel, Brody Rutledge, and Graham Hylton had hits for the Jets, Hylton's double was the only extra base hit.

Jared Schlehuber, Carlos Lopez, and Cooper Howe worked from the mound for the Jets.

Western led 4-0 after three and then put the game away with five runs in the fifth.

NOC Enid (32-12) fell to 7-6 in league while Western (27-15) improved to 7-6.
