Jhett Creel homered and Jesse Ponce had three hits in an 8-2 NOC Enid win over Murray State in Game 1 of a conference doubleheader Wednesday.

Wednesday's win clinched a berth in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament May 7-11 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

 Creel added three runs batted in while Ponce added two as NOC Enid scored three runs in the first and sixth to ease past the Aggies.

Noah Smith added two hits for the Jets.

Cale Wetwiska, Jared Schlehuber, and Ty Pankonin allowed just three hits and struck out six Aggie hitters.

NOC (37-15) improved to 12-9 in league play while the Aggies (31-19) fell to 13-8.
