Jets fall to National Park 4-2 in region tournament first round

HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas --  #25 NOC Enid fell to National Park 4-2 Wednesday in the first round of the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Trailing 2-0 the Jets rallied for two runs to tie the game at 2-2 in the third.  Rhen Rutledge homered scoring Brody Rutledge to tie the game at 2-2.  Brody Rutledge reached base with a one out single.

National Park then scored two runs on a home run in the seventh to take a 4-2 lead.

The Jets had a chance in the seventh with two runners reaching and then in the ninth loading the bases with two outs.

Corbin Kwan started for the Jets allowing two runs on five hits.  Logan Wade worked four innings allowing two runs on one hit.

The Jets (39-17) face Carl Albert Thursday morning at 10 a.m.  Carl Albert fell to South Ark 9-2 Wednesday afternoon.
