HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas -- NOC Enid stayed alive for the second time Friday in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament with an 11-1 win over Arkansas State Unniversity Mountain Home at Majestic Parkin Hot Springs.
The Jets (42-17) face NOC Tonkawa in an elimination game Saturday at 3 p.m. The winner advances to the championship round against South Arkansas at 6 p.m.
Bennett Percival worked five innings allowing just one run on two hits. Wyatt Rutldege sealed the win with two innings of hitless relief.
The #25 Jets trailed 1-0 until the fourth when the took a 2-1 lead and then put the game away with six runs in the fifth. Cooper Smith, Jhett Creel, and Brody Rutledge had two hits each while Rhen Rutledge drove in three runs.
Creel had two doubles as the Jets totaled five doubles. NOC outhit the Trailblazers 11-2.
