Smith's big day leads Jets past North Iowa

Noah Smith had three home runs and 11 runs batted in leading NOC Enid to 16-2 and 13-8 wins over North Iowa on Saturday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

In Game 1, the Jets routed the Trojans 16-2.

Jack Jones (4-1) worked four inning allowing just two runs on three hits.  Maddox Lawson worked the 5th for the Jets.

Noah Smith had a big day with a home run, double, and six runs batted in while Jake Ervin hit a grand slam in a 13-run 4th inning.

Bryan Williams added two hits for the Jets and scored three runs.

In Game 2, Smith continued his hot hitting with two more home runs and five runs batted in.  Gunner Sattler also homered and drove in two runs.

Ty Wilson had four hits while Brock Boddie added three in a 16 hit attack.

Bennett Percival (4-1) worked four innings striking out five while Bryson Kelley, Wyatt Wilkinson, and Jonathan Silva worked from the Jets bullpen.
