Jets sweep North Iowa, run winning streak to 12

NOC Enid completed a four game sweep of North Iowa on Sunday with 6-5 and 15-0 wins overt the Trojans.

The Jets have now won 12 straight.

In Game 1, the Jets scored the go ahead run in the 6th as Connor Cavnar's ground out scored Bryan Williams giving the Jets a 6-5 win on Sunday.

Jackson Papenfus earned the win in relief working 2.1 scoreless innings while striking out four in back of starter Catcher Lindley and reliever Carlos Lopez.

Connor Schlegel had two doubles and drove in two runs while Bryan Williams and Cade Christensen scored two runs.

It was more of the same in Game 2 as the Jets routed North Iowa 15-0.

Wyatt Rutledge (3-1) worked four scoreless innings allowing four hits striking out eight.  

Gunner Sattler and Ty Wilson homered for the Jets pacing a 10 hit attack.  Sattler led the attackwith three hits.

Sattler, Williams, Wilson, and Tanner Fallwell drove in two runs each for the Jets.  

What's Next:  The Jets are at Murray State for the conference opener Thursday at 1 p.m./3:30 p.m.  The Jets host the Aggies Saturday at 1 p.m./3 :30 p.m.
