Jets split two at Branson classic

BRANSON, Missouri -- NOC Enid shut out Elgin (IL) 13-0 in Game 2 in Branson on Friday after losing to Iowa Western in Game 1.

In Game 1, the Jets fell to Iowa Western 8-5.  

Cassidi Cook had two hits including a double while Morgan Hayes and Brylee Brungardt-Davis added two singles and one run batted in.

The Jets and Iowa Western were tied 5-5 before Iowa scored three runs over the final two innings to earn the 8-5 win.

Lillyan Ball worked all seven innings allowing five earned runs on nine hits.

In Game 2, Sonia Mena had three hits including a double and triple while Ryan Gamble tossed a two-hit shut out in a 13-0 Jets win over Elgin (IL).

Cassidi Cook added three hits and three runs batted in while Addison Cassady had two hits.

Ryan Gamble allowed just two hits and struck out nine in the five inning complete game.

The Jets bolted out to a 10-0 win and cruised to the 13-0 victory.
