MIAMI, Okla. -- NOC dropped two tight games to NEO Thursday in Miami 3-0 and 5-4.
The Jets (17-23) are now 3-9 in conference while NEO (20-14) improved to 6-6 in league play.
In Game 1, the Jets were out hit 8-4 in a 3-0 loss.
Brylee Brungardt-Davis had a double while Hayden Haulcomb, Ryan Gamble, and Morgan Hayes added singles for NOC Enid.
NEO scored single runs in the 4th, 5th, and 6th to break open a 0-0 tie.
Triniti Black and KK Harjo worked six innings allowing three runs on eight hits.
In Game 2, the Jets rallied from a 5-0 deficit but fell short 5-4.
Haulcomb had three hits and two runs scored for the Jets while Brungardt-Davis had two hits including a triple and two runs scored. Cassidi Cook and Addison Cassady had singles for the Jets.
Chloe Dallman-Janski and Gamble worked in the circle allowing five runs on 11 hits.
What's Next: The Jets are at NOC Tonkawa for a conference doubleheader Saturday at 2 p.m./4 p.m.
