The NOC Enid Lady Jets cruised to a 102-49 win over Mid-America University JV Wednesday night in the 2021 season opener at the Mabee Center.

Wednesday's win was the first for Lady Jets head coach Kelli Jennings.

NOC Enid was led by Lauren Wade with 18 points while Aleisha Hester, Hollie Wood, Madelyn Hankins had 12 points each.  Kristen Readel also reached double figures with 10.

"It was nice to finally get to play a game, and it was great to start the season with a win," said Jennings.  "We were able to see the areas we need to improve and are excited to continue to get better as the season progresses"

The Lady Jets jumped out to an early 20-4 and were never threatened.

The Lady Jets travel to Eastern Monday night for the start of Region 2 action.
