The NOC Enid Lady Jets overcame a 14-0 deficit to start the game, then rallied past NOC Tonkawa 59-56 at the Mabee Center Thursday night.

The Lady Jets (5-5) improved to 4-5 in conference play while NOC Tonkawa (3-8) is now 3-4 in conference play.

NOC Enid was led by Madelyn Hankins with 15 points while Aleisha Hester added 11 points and Lauren Wade 10.

The Lady Jets came all the way back from the early 14 point hole cutting the lead to within 28-27 at half.

After NOC Tonkawa took a 51-48 lead with 6:20 remaining, the Lady Jets went on an 8-3 run to take a 56-54 lead on a Hester jumper with 1:58 left.

Abbey Phibbs then made two free throws to extend the lead to 58-54 with :11.8 remaining.  After the Lady Mavs cut the lead to 58-56, Hankins made one free throw with :08 left to give the Lady Jets the 59-56 lead they would not give up.

The Lady Jets won the first meeting between the two teams 59-54 at Tonkawa.

NOC Enid travels to NEO Monday night, tip-off is at 5:30 p.m.
