WILBURTON, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Lady Jets battled #19 Eastern to the wire Monday losing to the Lady Mountaineers 78-73 in Wilburton.

NOC (11-8) fell to 1-5 in league while Eastern (22-4) improved to 13-1.

Aleisha Hester led the Lady Jets with 23 points while Libbi Zinn added 17 and Averi Zinn 12.

Eastern led the Lady Jets 37-36 at half but the Lady Mountaineers outscored the Lady Jets 29-20 to build a 10 point edge going into the fourth quarter.

The Lady Jets host Connors on Thursday and Seminole on Saturday to finish the regular season.

The Region 2 playoffs are in Shawnee March 2-5.
