MCPHERSON, Kansas -- JaNai Coleman led five Lady Jets in double figures with 25 points in a 96-47 win over McPherson JV Friday in McPherson, Kansas, in the 2025-26 season opener.
Kenley Lemons and Laeticia Hardy added 14 points each while Savannah King had 11. Noel Crabtree added 10 from the Lady Jets bench.
Friday's opener was never in doubt as the Lady Jets led 37-25 at half and then exploded for 59 second half points.
"I know the score may not reflect my feelings on the game but the first half was simply not up to our standards," said Lady Jets coach Michael Dominguez. "However, I am glad that we were able to bounce back at halftime and play Jets basketball in the second half. It was great to see the potential of who we could be as a team if we put together a full game. I'm hoping that with each game, we can continue to grow towards the team I know we are capable of becoming."
Coleman led with 10 rebounds while Hardy and Riley Trammell had 10 rebounds each. Coleman added six assists while Atiana Cook added five. Coleman also added three steals.
NOC Enid shot 54% from the floor and 44% from 3-point range.
