King's 4 3-pointers leads Lady Jets past Connors

WARNER, Okla. --  Savannah king scored 14 points off the Lady Jets bench in a 68-47 road win at Connors Monday night.

The Lady Jets (14-5) improved to 3-5 in conference while the Cowgirls (4-14) fell to 2-6 in league play.

JaNai Coleman led NOC Enid with 18 while Lyndee Mikesell added 12 and Noel Crabtree 10.

Atiana Cook led the Lady Jets on the glass with 15 while Laeticia Hardy added 11 and Coleman 10.  Cook added seven assists.

"Really proud of our effort last night, especially on the defensive end," said coach Michael Dominguez. "We were able to contain the leading scorer in conference to two points. Our defensive and rebounding efforts were the best that we've seen all season. Hoping we can capitalize off this and continue to grow as a team as we start the next round of conference play."

NOC Enid led 31-20 at half and were never threatened by the Cowgirls.  NOC shot 35% from the floor and 32% from 3-point range.  The Lady Jets were 71% (15-21) from the line.
