Michael Dominguez is in his first year at NOC Enid.
Dominguez comes to NOC after three years as head at coach at the University of the Southwest, an NAIA private school in Hobbs, New Mexico.
At the University of the Southwest, Dominguez led the program to the most wins all time, most conference wins all time, most playoff wins, and most playoff appearances. His teams broke 26 records, he also coached eight all-conference players.
His teams also excelled in the classroom with team GPA’s of 3.67 (2021-22), 3.45 (2022-23), and 3.72 (2023-24). He coached 25 players who earned All-Conference Academic Honors.
Dominquez earned two degrees, Science and Sports Psychology) from Grand Canyon University.
His previous coaching experience includes Alderson Broaddus University (NCAA Division 2) in West Virginia, Southern Arkansas University (NCAA Division 2) in Arkansas, South Mountain Community College (NJCAA Division 2) in Arizona, Ironwood High School (Arizona), and a Senior Scout for Prep Girls Hoops.
